The frames lift off a hard diagonal, open, turn through the light and fold back onto the line where cyan meets peach. Colour blocking carries the whole piece and nothing else in frame competes with it.

The hardest product to shoot is a black object on a dark surface, because it only reads if the light does the drawing. One raking light: a rim along the headband, stitching catching on the cushion, everything else falling away.

Knurled ring, engraved scales, and the detents you can hear. The camera comes round to the front element so the aperture closes on camera rather than somewhere the viewer cannot see it happen.

Styling work, not a fidelity claim: the model is fully generated, the gold border and colour are true to the original, the fine brocade is a close approximation rather than pixel exact. Cleared by them for public use after the pitch.
